Smile 2011 - How to REMOVE all Facebook Wall posts

Ok, so I've been doing a complete Facebook cleanup lately, removing random friends or people that I don't want to be friend with, removing all pictures that are aged, and likes that are no longer my personal likes.

The biggest challenge was removing wall posts/recent activities, and that for 3 years! There were hundreds of them, so I needed to get some sort of automation (which by the way took 2 hours to do all the work).

So here is the method done by my freelancer, that will remove ALL Facebook wall contents, as of January 2011!
    1. Install Mozilla Firefox
    2. Download iMacros for Firefox Addon
    3. Download the script in attachment of this post
    4. Read the instructions within the .zip file
The scripts included in attachment will work with iMacros which is basically Firefox addon that automates web tasks. It will efficiently remove facebook wall contents one by one until there is nothing left. And the best part...it will do it live, so you don't miss a thing :P

I hope you find this useful,

    Jan

Edit: This script no longer works due to Facebook updates. If you need to cleanup your wall, please visit http://www.cleanthatwall.com

The people who suggest removing every single post before getting the account deleted are being extremely vigilant about their removal. Facebook (at the moment) does say that these wall posts are permanently deleted when your account is deleted. This is unlike your photos, where they remain in the system in some way, yet disconnected to your account.

So, if you do trust Facebook to delete it when they say they will, your normal deletion request will remove all these wall posts for you. This is usually sufficient for most people. The people mentioned who remove all their wall posts first are extremely untrusting of Facebook and don't believe Facebook will delete them forever from the system, so they do it themselves first. I don't know if this is your stance too, but if it's not then you might save yourself some trouble by knowing Facebook do intend to delete them all when your account is deleted.

    I hope this helps!

well use it as base and apply tweaks. You can use iMacros to generate codes for you live from facebook and than you insert new codes into existing script.

Well, the suggestion was not wrong but the Facebook is upgrading day by day and it is somewhat difficult to delete wall post. I tried to do so but I can't.
